Configuring Entourage 2008 for WFU Exchange Server

  1. Launch Entourage
    • Close the setup assistant if it launches
  2. Select TOOLS
  3. Select ACCOUNTS
  4. Click on the NEW pull down menu and select EXCHANGE
  5. When the assistant opens, click on “Configure Account Manually”
  6. In the Account Settings tab enter the following information
    • Account Name: WFU
    • Name: users first and last name
    • Email address: must be your WFU email address
    • Account ID: userid
    • Domain: deacnet.wfu.edu
    • Password: the user’s email password
    • Exchange Server: https://mobileumail.wfu.edu
    • Check the box: This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL)
  7. Click on the ADVANCED tab and enter
    • LDAP Server: ldap.wfu.edu
    • Make sure the box is unchecked for
      • This LDAP requires me to log on
      • This LDAP server requires a secure conection
      • Override LDAP port
    • In the search base field enter: o=wfu,c=us
  8. Click OK
